ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Mad Men’ alum is Hollis’ wife

If you have been waiting for a while to learn just who is Hollis Doyle’s wife going to be on “Scandal,” we now have an answer for you; and if you just so happen to be a fan of a certain AMC series in “Mad Men,” you are sure to be even happier.

According to a brand new report from TVLine, Melinda McGraw, best known as the woman who romanced Don Draper on the side for a major season 2 arc, is going to come on board for at least one episode airing in April. McGraw has quite an extensive resume that includes appearances on “NCIS,” “Men of a Certain Age” (which we still miss very dearly), and “The X-Files.”

For the time being, it’s hard to imagine what brings Hollis’ wife into the picture. She is described as being a fiercely intelligent New York woman with plenty of ambition to boot, and she is someone that makes it sound as though Hollis is going to have his hands full at home in addition to when he is out on the job.

“Scandal” is currently in the beginning of an extended hiatus brought on by the fact that it needs to stay on the air until May, and it will be the middle of March until we see Olivia Pope and her fellow gladiators back in action again. While we wait, there is still plenty to be excited about in between a new source of trouble for one Fitzgerald Grant, a visit from Lisa Edelstein, and of course even more intrigue with the storyline involving Scott Foley.
