‘The Vampire Diaries’ review: All about Steven R. McQueen, Nina Dobrev (again)
It’s been a very long week of waiting for Thursday night’s “Vampire Diaries” to air, mostly because there is one question that just about everyone is frantically trying to find out an answer to: is Jeremy going to live to see the other day?
Based on what we saw at the end of Thursday night’s new episode, the answer to that is really rather simple: we have probably seen the end, sadly enough, to Steven R. McQueen’s character pending something crazy happening with Bonnie bringing a whole heap of supernatural creatures into the world. It took Elena nearly all episode to really start to recognize the truth that her brother was gone, and there was not anything that she could really do about it.
The only thing to us that was more shocking than this was seeing how badly Elena wanted to escape from her past stuffed full of pain and heartache: she let Jeremy and her entire house burn, including all of its contents. Damon had told her to turn off her humanity, and in what could be seen as evidence that the sire bond still very much exists, she listened.
But just how much do we think that she is going to ultimately regret this decision? We’re guessing a lot down the road, when she wants to look back at where she comes from, and everything that she has lost along the way.
Overall, what did you think about Thursday night’s new episode … and was the closing sight of Elena enough to even make your forget about Caroline’s desperate calls to Tyler and what was going on with Bonnie? Be sure to share some more of your thoughts below, and you can read some more comments from Nina Dobrev about this episode over at the link here.

It’s really sad but Jeremy should have not been in that house he should be alive
