‘The Walking Dead’ season 3, episode 10 sneak peek: Daryl, Merle find life on the road tough

The Walking DeadAfter Sunday’s episode of “The Walking Dead” season 3, many fans are still shocked at the decision Daryl made leaving Rick’s group and joining Merle on the road.  Was Rick right in not wanting to bring crazy Merle back to the prison where there are women and children?  After everything that Rick did to save Daryl were you shocked that he decided to take his brother’s side and pair up with him?

Now that Rick and company have kicked the hornet’s nest with the Governor (twice) and they no longer have Daryl (one of their strongest fighters) what chance of survival do the folks at the prison really have when the Governor retaliates? Even worse then that Rick has almost completely gone off the deep end, receiving calls from ghosts and seeing the dead roaming the prison and Woodbury, so with their leader not really able to lead the group anymore and Daryl gone we are pretty worried that the folks at the prison are in for a whooping.

Daryl and Merle on the other hand are likely going to be fine.  Both are fighters and well trained with weapons now, so their survival is pretty much guaranteed (unless they do something really stupid), but the one thing they seem to be having trouble with is finding food.  In a new sneak peek of this Sunday’s new episode we see Daryl and Merle traipsing through the forest hunting for food (with no luck).  Daryl tries to talk Merle into going back to the prison where there is food, shelter and a little bit of civility, but Merle is still not interested in being part of Rick’s camp, mostly because he knows that the Governor will be taking the prison at any time and killing off whoever is left there.

The next new episode of “The Walking Dead” season 3 airs on Sunday, February 18th at 9 p.m. on AMC, but if you can’t wait until then and you need a little sneak peek then be sure to check out the video below.
