ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5 spoilers: Jon Huertas teases ‘scary’ news for two-parter
As you may know already, we are finally going to be meeting Richard Castle’s father during the upcoming two-part “Castle” episode that is airing during the February sweeps; but what you may not have known is that at some point during this process, we are also going to be getting a chance to see much of the force actually travel out of the country for a change.
Speaking to TV Guide in a new interview, actor Jon Huertas confirms that we are going to be seeing the likes of his own character Esposito, Castle, and Beckett all travel to Europe to help complete a case they began working on back in New York, one that involved the kidnapping of a wealthy Middle Eastern businessman’s daughter. This is something that has yet to be done on the show, but it will still fulfill part of the show’s long-standing tradition of having these two-partners involve some sort of FBI agent in the process.
Don’t expect this mission to be a relaxing vacation for any of the detectives. As a matter of fact, Huertas teases that there is going to be plenty of danger in store for some of the team members as they try to figure out just how in the world they are going to solve this case in a location that is hardly their backyard … even with help. There will be some surprises, but what is definitely still unknown at the moment is just how in the world this story is going to tie in to meeting the older, more mysterious Mr. Castle that we have heard so much about over the years.
What do you want to see take place during the episode? Be sure to share some more of your thoughts below, and you can also head on over to the link here to find out some more information about Rick’s dad.

For your Valentine show Beckett’s gift to Castle should be a card that when opened it says:
The wall is gone, I love you, Happy Valentine’s day,
