‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: Ian Somerhalder, Joseph Morgan on return to work
We wrote yesterday about Ian Somerhalder coming back to America in order to resume work on “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, and we now know just when production on the hit CW series is going to be back in full production: today.
The good news was not only confirmed by a number of people currently working on the cast and crew, but we also found out a little more information about just how far ahead of the airing schedule the team is, and just what sort of work they are specifically doing in and around Atlanta. Let’s start with the man behind Klaus in Joseph Morgan, who revealed on Twitter that he has just had the opportunity to check out the latest script:
“Also read script for episode 16 of a certain popular series involving night walkers. Interesting storyline developing ;)”
As for Ian Somerhalder, he was kind enough to reveal that production did not just begin today, but it began extremely early as he was forced to rise and shine so that he would be ready to begin a day’s work as Damon (which requires far more work than just acting in front of a camera):
“Back in the Saddle and ready to work- #tvdtime. Up, 6AM-training, breakfast, study lines, bite someone.”
“The Vampire Diaries” will return to The CW with new episodes beginning on Thursday, January 17, and this will be the tenth episode of the season. Therefore, we will still have five more to go after that one to catch up to where the cast is right now in terms of the script.
What sort of “interesting storyline” do you want to see? If you want to hear some more “Vampire Diaries” season 4 coverage about the struggle ahead for Nina Dobrev’s Elena, all you have to do is venture over to the link here.
