‘Hart of Dixie’ season 2, episode 11 preview: Take a dive into ‘Old Alabama’

HART OF DIXIEFor the “Hart of Dixie” fan, it may be hard to look at a schedule at this very moment. After all, the show is not going to be returning to The until Tuesday, January 15, and that is a pretty long (if not horrible) time in which to wait for anything. Luckily, we’ve got something now to help you ease the pain a little bit: some of the first details from “Old Alabama,” which is the first episode back for the show that features everything from costumes to Wade calling Zoe his “girlfriend.”

This official synopsis from The teases teases the blast from the past, but it also helps to give us some insight into just what problems Lavon is going to be running into at an inopportune time, and just what Leman and AnnaBeth are up to now when it comes to their new catering business:

“With Lavon (Cress Williams) preoccupied with his personal life, he lets his Mayoral duties slip at the worst time, as BlueBell’s Pioneer Day is fast approaching and a reporter from Southern Living magazine is in town.  Seeing that he needs help, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Wade (Wilson Bethel) volunteer to help him out by playing BlueBell’s ‘Founding Couple.’  Zoe is also trying a new tact when it comes to her relationship with Wade, which has her taking on many new projects.  Lemon (Jaime King) and AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) devise a plan to get Lavon to let them cater the First Feast, in order to get some publicity for their new business.  Meanwhile, George (Scott Porter) gives advice to Brick (Tim Matheson) on how to handle his new relationship.”

The good news for fans of Zoe and Wade is that there is not any obvious sign in this synopsis that there is going to be trouble coming up for them in the near future; then again, can you ever really feel safe if you are a couple on a network drama series?
