‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4, episode 10 preview: Guess who’s back?

Claire HoltJust in case you were feeling a little bit indifferent to the lengthy story about Tyler and his band of hybrids on “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, that plot was pretty much burned to the ground on Thursday night courtesy of Klaus going on a rampage the likes of which we haven’t seen all year. Joseph Morgan’s character took all of Tyler’s army and his own mother away from him, and now he is very much alone.

But could there be a new ally to work against Klaus in Rebekah? We can’t imagine that she is altogether pleased over what happened to her to be staked yet again, even though the newest promo for the January 17 episode “After School Special” does not really do much in the way of showing us just what side she is on. As a matter of fact, the only thing it shows from her is a brief conversation with Tyler on the phone.

As for what else we are going to see, it can be basically summed up in two ways:

1. Klaus is not going to be altogether pleased (especially with Damon) over the idea that Jeremy is trying to grow his mark as a hunter.

2. Stefan is going to be even less pleased with the idea that despite the sire bond not being fully broken, Elena is still making the conscious decision to be near Damon an incredibly short amount of time after we broke up with him. We actually think it is this timing here that is really more hurtful than anything else.

What do you think should happen in this upcoming episode? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and you can also check out what Ian Somerhalder has to say about Damon and Elena’s relationship at present over here.
