‘Breaking Bad’ season 5: Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston are back on set
Production of the last 8 episodes ever of “Breaking Bad” started last week and we can hardly contain out excitement and neither can the cast.
The first table reading with the cast happened about two weeks ago and last week everyone was back on set and ready to bring the series to it’s epic conclusion (whatever that may be). Aaron posted a message on his Twitter account talking about how much he has missed the series (so have we) and how great it was to be back in the saddle. He wrote: “I have missed you Breaking Bad it has been far too long. Just wrapped our first day of shooting of the final season and it was glorious.”
Bryan Cranston, who is not only reprising his role of Walter White in the last eight episodes but is also directing a few of them as well, hasn’t been on Twitter in well over a month, but he jumped back on his account a few days ago to talk about his first day back on set and to share a photo of some crazy amazing “Breaking Bad” cupcakes that AMC sent the cast and crew. He said: “First day if shooting the last season of BB was delicious. AMC sent us a huge assortment of cupcakes with a message.”
There is still seven more months to wait until “Breaking Bad” season 5 returns to AMC, but luckily Aaron Paul is pretty fantastic at keeping the fans updated on what’s happening with the show behind the scenes. Are you excited that the boys are back on set or is this just yet another sad reminder that this is the last eight episode of “Breaking Bad” ever? Leave us a comment and tell us what you think.

Mr. Gilligan said it himself, he wants to take Walt from starting out as Mr. Chips and ending as Scarface. If you have ever seen Scarface, you know how it ends. And as if to brace us for what is to come, a little fore shadowing is thrown in during season five when Walt and Jr. are actually watching Scarface as Skyler looks on in dread and Walt mutters, “everyone dies in this movie”.

I think that this show has achieved something rare. Something that the godfather achieved. A scenario where you are rooting for the villain. I love breaking bad and hope that Walt will ride into the sunset so to speak but with the way amc shows tend to lead towards I don’t see that scenario happening.

i feel its ending at the right time. despite all of the horrible things he’s done, i still love walter, and hope he gets out of this show alive. maybe ust since its a tv character, i can still root for him. and i dont dislike the other characters who go against him. i love all the characters. even tuco!
