‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 spoilers: How will Sheldon spend Christmas?

It’s already Christmastime, and for the cast of “The Big Bang Theory,” they will be celebrating the holiday in their own special way courtesy of the new episode (entitled “The Santa Simulation”) that is airing on Thursday night.

So just what can you specifically expect? CBS has just released some of their official first details from the hour, and in addition to the story about Raj trying to find a girl with the help of some of the show’s female cast members, we are also going to be seeing Sheldon get deeply involved in a classic game that many children of the 1980s grew up with:

“Sheldon revisits some Christmas memories during a game of Dungeons and Dragons, while Penny, Bernadette and Amy try to find a girl for Koothrappali when he joins the girls for ladies’ night.”

When it comes to great mentionings of “Dungeons & Dragons” on comedy series, we still believe that “The Big Bang Theory” has its work cut out for it in trying to equal the greatness that has already been established courtesy of the memorable “Community” season 2 episode that featured the entire study group getting deeply involved in a classic D&D showdown. With that being said, we do wish the cast and the writers the best of luck in trying to find a way to top this. (After all, it’s not going to be easy.)

We are still going to be doubtful, meanwhile, about Raj’s romantic pursuits for some time, mostly because we have been conditioned on this show over the years to not exactly be optimistic when it comes to the chances that this man is ever going to find a substantial romance. Let’s hope that we are wrong.
