‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 video: First look at Ian Somerhalder in winter finale
“The Vampire Diaries” season 4 has surely produced its fair share of intense moments thus far during the year, but not all of these may even compare with what is coming up next during an intense, shocking midseason finale. We have already teased that at least one character is not going to be making it out of this episode alive, and we also now have the first promo of just what we can expect.
The episode itself is entitled “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” which is of course going to be a delight case of double meaning given everything that is happening in Mystic Falls. Tyler is going to be plotting with the sired hybrids to take out Klaus once and for all, but there is someone else rather surprising who could stand in his way: Stefan. Paul Wesley’s character may hate the man, but he is also smart enough to recognize that he is far more useful to him alive than he is dead. After all, the man still needs to find a cure.
Meanwhile, we are also going to see during this episode Damon and Elena become close yet again, which is probably music to the ears of all Ian Somerhalder – Nina Dobrev fans. Will they find a way to break the bond that is keeping them apart … or will they even care for the time being? We already know that war is starting to break out between hunter, hybrids, and vampires, and this is going to get ugly by the time that this season actually comes to a close.
