‘Dexter’ season 7 finale spoilers: Who has LaGuerta worried?

In just a week and a half from today, “Dexter” season 7 is going to be wrapping up with what will hopefully be one of the Showtime drama’s most-electric episodes yet; and to go along with that suggestion now, we have a photo that shows perfectly just how intense things are going to be when it comes to LaGuerta’s determination on the Bay Harbor Butcher case.

One of the most interesting elements of this season so far has merely been that the police captain has had very little interaction with most of the other characters for most of the year so far. Why is that? It’s mostly because of the fact that she has been so afraid of disclosing her findings, and for everyone else at Miami Metro to shut down the notion that someone other than Sargent Doakes could have been behind the killings.

However, someone above in Batistia (who also happens to be LaGuerta’s ex) seems to be finally clued in on just what is going on here. Does he know about Dexter’s secret? If he does learn a few things from Maria, and if he believes them, this is going to create a problem for our leading man that is in many ways going to be insurmountable. How can he kill pretty much the entire police force? He can’t. Basically, he is going to have to hope that he can find a way to turn suspicion away from him, or the other option is spend the rest of his life rotting in a prison cell, since we have a feeling that no one is going to see “the code” the same way that he does.
