Chicago PD season 5 episode 2 spoilers: Monica Raymund to appear

Chicago PD season 5 episode 2

Apparently, it will only take until Chicago PD season 5 episode 2 for there to be some sort of Chicago Fire crossover. On the upcoming October 4 episode entitled “Promise,” Monica Raymund will be coming over from the original One Chicago series, something that we could be seeing a little bit more of now that we’ve got Jon Seda back on this show again. With the Dawson siblings starring on separate shows, we imagine that they’ll have opportunities to pop up on each other’s programs — there is even more of an incentive for Seda to be on Chicago Fire if and when the Brett / Antonio pairing is brought back to the surface. We do hear that this is something that could end up happening, but there is apparently no immediate hurry for it.

If you look below, you can see a little more information as to what the main case at the heart of “Promise” is going to be:

“When a young Latina woman is brutally murdered, Intelligence suspects she may have been working as a drug mule. With Antonio (Jon Seda) leading the case, the team’s investigation takes them into the grim world of meat processing, and the discovery that there may be a different motive behind her death. Also starring Jason Beghe, Jesse Lee Soffer, Patrick John Flueger, Elias Koteas, Marina Squerciati, LaRoyce Hawkins, Amy Morton and Tracy Spiridakos. Guest starring Monica Raymund, Chris Agos and Skipp Sudduth.”

We’ll admit that the first thought that we have upon reading this synopsis is that we could be getting into some sort of Hannibal situation where someone may be processing human meat. We’re not exactly sure that this is the case, but it’s a pretty horrific thought either way. No matter what, Chicago PD season 5 episode 2 is probably not the sort of episode that you should be watching in the middle of a hearty steak dinner. there’s a chance that an uneasy stomach will come as a result of that!

No matter what happens over this episode, we anticipate it being exciting and bringing a wide array of different developments to the table. If nothing else, we’re glad to see both Gabby and Antonio Dawson in the same episode again.
