Scorpion season 4 episode 2 spoilers: Could Cabe lose his job?

Scorpion season 4 episode 2

Some of the first Scorpion season 4 episode 2 spoilers are coming out courtesy of CBS, and they suggest that Cabe could be in a bind. We have seen this character give up a lot for the team, but could he be willing to lose his job for the sake of doing the right thing?

There isn’t too much CarterMatt can say about this, beyond that episode 4×02 airs in early October and is entitled “More Extinction”, which is a pretty funny title given that the premiere is simply called “Extinction.” This episode is also set to directly continue the events from the first episode, which features the return of noted Team Scorpion adversary Mark Collins in a somewhat surprising form. The team is going to be forced to actually work alongside Collins rather than against him, and the tension throughout the premiere is going to carry over directly into this episode. Nobody really wants to trust the guy, but given the present circumstances of the team they may find themselves in a situation where there really is no better choice.

For more in terms of what to expect, take a look at the synopsis below:

“Team Scorpion continues to work with their nemesis, Mark Collins, in order to prevent an extinction event that could end humanity. Also, Cabe’s last-minute decision while on the case leads to the possible end of his career.”

The photo above gives you another sign of what’s coming up here, and it’s a reminder that in order to do what they can to protect the country, the team is apparently going to have to venture to some very cold parts of the world to make it happen. To us, there’s just something very entertaining about seeing them all have to emulate cold temperatures in Los Angeles, especially given that this story filmed in the middle of summer when temperatures throughout California were scorching, to say the least.

As for how long Mark Collins will stay around, it’s possible that this is just a two-part episode and you’re going to see the character take off after this one wraps (at least for a little while). Yet, we do have a feeling at this point that we’re going to be seeing the character off and on through out the series; he remains one of the most integral recurring characters out there given his time with the team and his history with all of them.

On a more comedic note

Some of the promotional material that was released for the episode suggested that you could have a chance to see some sort of story related to Toby and a speedo. You’re welcome, world. This show is really great at finding a way to inject these little moments of lightness into the larger story.
