Blindspot season 3 spoilers: No Tomorrow alum Tori Anderson scores role

Tori Anderson

For those of you who loved No Tomorrow on The CW and its star Tori Anderson, you’ll be pleased to know Blindspot season 3 is going to be her new home.

In a new report from Entertainment Weekly, it was revealed that Anderson is going to be recurring on the upcoming season (premiering this October) in the role of Blake, a socialite who has plenty of smarts and business savvy. She also may have a relationship with Roman — a friendly one, and maybe a romantic one down the road. Here’s what executive producer Martin Gero had to say on the subject to the website:

“Blake is an incredibly smart and charming business woman and sparks fly when she meets Roman for the first time.”

Given that Anderson’s character is so smart, it’s probably understandable that you have a few questions. For example, does she want anything more with Luke Mitchell’s character? Does she have an endgame in mind? What could her relationship be with Jane and Weller in the event that everyone does eventually meet up with one another? We figure that this has to happen eventually, but admittedly there are probably some other priorities that the team has to deal with first and foremost. Take, for example, Jane and Weller figuring out where they stand now after the time jump, and unraveling the new tattoo mystery that is going to clearly exist in the early going.

If you didn’t see Tori Anderson on No Tomorrow (it’s a fun show, even if it didn’t last all that long), there are some other venues in which you can see her work. She was a part of The L.A. Complex, and following that she appeared in Killjoys, Open Heart, and The Other Kingdom. This is one of her first chances to play a significant role on a Big 4 network television show — one that actually lasts longer than an episode or two. Provided this role goes well, it’s possible that we end up seeing more of her here. Given that this is Blindspot, this is probably also not the only major casting news that we’re going to hear about over the coming weeks — they like to keep some of their cards close to their vest. While they’re not a new character, can we go ahead and start lobbying in order to get more Rich Dotcom on the show?
