Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Josh’s decisions a.k.a. Paul’s decisions (day 45, morning)

Big Brother

We understand why there would be plenty of people out there upset at the moment over Big Brother 19Josh is in power, and with that, he’s basically just allowing Paul to control the week and kick back and enjoy some of his food.

Granted, it’s not all that hard to figure out what the nominations are going to be: Jessica and Cody are going to be up on the block one more time presumably. Paul did float the idea of nominating Jessica and someone like Alex and then using Christmas’ temptation to pull Cody off in the event that he’s picked to play for the Veto. This idea, for our money, is too complicated — which is one of Paul’s greatest flaws as a player in general. He comes up with these big harebrained schemes that are a million times more difficult than they need to be. Just nominate the two of them, and hope that someone in your crew is able to beat them in competitions.

Basically, all you need to do is ensure that the two parties don’t win both of the competitions this week in order to ensure that one of them goes home. Given that the Temptation Competition is happening this afternoon before nominations, there’s a chance to see how that plays out. If one of them wins, then you can start to think in terms of what to do in order to ensure that the other doesn’t win Veto. That includes possibly trying to keep that other person off the block, and then getting Christmas to use her Temptation if they are picked to play.

Mark, Elena, and Alex are all seemingly pawns who could end up going up, with the latter being useful because she’s been willing to do it before.

Have-Not Debate

Mark pretty much begged Josh to not make him a Have-Not this week, which means that Josh probably will make him one again. Meanwhile, Matt’s also agreed to be one to ensure that Jessica, Cody, and Mark don’t just get a room together to hang out for the entire week. Paul also volunteered to be one, and if we were Josh, what we’d actually probably do is put in there, Jessica, Cody, and Matt. Keep Paul out of there since you want him to be rested for a potential Power of Veto, and try to weaken the other two by putting them in that position.

Note that we’re obviously speaking here in terms of gameplay, and not in terms of whether or not we actually like some of the garbage that likely is coming Jody’s way this week. We’re not their biggest fans (Cody’s jab at “aliens” last night is one of the reasons why it’s super-hard to get behind them), but we like the game when it’s tonally a little more positive and a little less ugly.

What do you think Josh should do this week? Share in the comments below, and head over here in the event you do want some additional news from the feeds.

For those wondering, we should have an interview with Allison Grodner online later today. (Photo: CBS.)
