Power season 4 episode 6 spoilers: Will Ghost save Tariq?

Power season 4 episode 6

Moving into Power season 4 episode 6, it is fair to say that the foundation of the entire series has changed dramatically. Ghost is now out of prison, but he’s far from out of the woods. For one, there is still a chance that something could be re-opened in the Greg Knox case unless Angela or someone else finds the true guilty party. Then, there are two other paramount problems for him: He is flat broke at the moment, and he also has to deal with Kanan. Given that he doesn’t even know 50 Cent’s character is alive at the moment, it’s fair to say that this is going to be a problem.

Let’s kick things off in this preview by sharing a small slice of what Starz has to say about this story — then, we’ll dive into the pair of problems further. (The promo for the next new episode, for reference, is at the bottom of the article.)

Power season 4 episode 6 synopsis – “Ghost finds himself trapped in a new business venture. Tommy escapes to Chicago for a meeting that takes a turn. With Ghost released, Jukebox and Kanan revisit their plan to kidnap Tariq.”

Jukebox and Kanan are already (partially) successful in their plot, which makes sense given that there isn’t anyone out there who is capable of standing in their way at the moment. They’ve got the motive to do what they want, and they’ve also clearly got both the means and the opportunity. They’re ghosts more so than Jamie is. Now, they have to just lure their target into their trap and do away with him and his son both.

Seem simple? Insofar as criminal mastermind plans are, it really is. The thing that we do wonder here is whether or not Kanan is capable of any redemption at all. He’s spent so much time with Tariq, so don’t you think that he’s formed some sort of bond? That’s one of the many things that we are wondering at the moment since it doesn’t look like there’s a whole lot of hope for him or Ghost otherwise unless they’re somehow tipped off.

As for the financial problems Ghost his facing, the return of Simon Stern (Victor Garber) is clearly going to cause him some trouble. He is going to want his money back, and he probably doesn’t care just how he gets it. This may strip Ghost of whatever sort of fresh start he was hoping to get on the other side of being in jail. He’s now going to have to do this guy’s bidding, and it feels fair to say that this is not going to be altogether easy for him. Add to this having to fulfill a certain obligation when it comes to Tommy from a man who may be his longtime friend’s father.
