The Fosters season 5 episode 3 promo: Callie and Aaron’s first date

Fosters season 5 episode 2

Want to know what’s ahead on The Fosters season 5 episode 3? The title is “Contact,” and romance could be in the air. Callie and Aaron’s relationship has been bubbling over for a little while now, and after everything is starting to settle down elsewhere, we could see them try to settle in and have something a little bit more normal.

Of course, given that this is The Fosters and nothing is ever all that normal there, we have a feeling that this probably will not be, either. Just take a look below if you want a little bit more insight regarding what is coming up.

The Fosters season 5 episode 3 synopsis – “Callie and Aaron go on their first official date. Mariana and Jude spearhead an underground school newspaper. Noah and Jude question their compatibility, while Brandon and Grace take their relationship to the next level. The moms have their new neighbors over for a family dinner party.”

The good news that is clear upon reading all of this is that relationships are going to be a key part of the show across the board — which is actually a good thing, since it suggests that life is starting to return to normal rather than a minefield of various drama and chaos. It’s also good, though, that we have a story for Jude coming up that doesn’t involve his personal life.

As for the new neighbors, let’s just hope that there’s no drama there! The entire Adams Foster clan needs a little bit of a break after everything that they’ve gone through. Based on what was on the air tonight, the one thing that feels fairly clear is that there is some sort of established history there that we don’t know about just yet, and we’re going to get some more information on in due time.

As for the promo below

This does a great job of establishing further some of the drama that is coming ahead. You get a glimpse of Callie and Aaron going on a date together, Brandon debating whether or not he should give up on his music career, and then finally some fear towards Jesus. He’s a beloved part of the family, but he is struggling to contain some of his outbursts and there is actually some fear as to if he can control them on some level. If he’s not able to, the family may have to think about doing something to separate him — which they clearly don’t want to do, but they also may not have all that much of a choice in the matter.
