Shadowhunters season 2 episode 12 spoilers: Killings and consequences
The conflicts between the various groups on the show remain at the heart of the story, and for good reason: There is history there, and there’s also a lot of tension that’s been bubbling up for some time. As much as some characters may want to keep the peace, all it takes sometimes are a simple move or two for relationships to break and descend into chaos.
On this particular occasion, we’re not just talking about one simple move; instead, it’s a series of deaths that could cause the Institute to consider one of their most shocking actions that we’ve seen on the show to date. For more, take a look at what lies below.
Shadowhunters season 2 episode 12 synopsis – “After several Shadowhunters are killed, The Institute turns to controversial methods to prevent a Downworlder uprising.”
There isn’t a whole lot said here, right? Well, this is a show that does like to keep as many things under wraps as they possibly can. Don’t be surprised if Freeform stays pretty constant with this strategy throughout the coming weeks.
(Warning: SPOILERS are now ahead.)
Promo – This certainly gives you a little more insight into what’s coming on the show! There is an odd Invasion of the Body Snatchers vibe with this story, since one of the primary focuses of it is going to be Magnus being placed within Valentine’s body. One of the issues at hand here will be getting some of the other characters to believe him. Following that, there may be some other troubles that come courtesy of figuring out the proper way to unravel that.
Unfortunately, much like with the synopsis Freeform is still not giving away all that much here. There are nine episodes left this season, and those stories are probably going to have plenty of their own surprises.
