Chicago PD season 4 episode 22 promo: Drama for Sophia Bush’s Lindsay

Many weeks ago, the news first came out about some drama ahead for Erin Lindsay. Chicago PD season 4 episode 22 looks to be the proof in the pudding. This episode (airing next week on NBC) is entitled “Army of One,” and we only hope that the focus here is not on her thinking that she can go it alone in order to stop a case. She may be exceptional at what she does, but sometimes, you need help in order to get the job done. She’s been through enough at this point that we would hope she would know what’s best for her; yet, sometimes in the midst of hardship, she can fail to see the forest through the trees.

Chicago PD season 4 episode 22 synopsis – “A live video is streamed online showcasing a tortured man being beaten and burned alive. Upon further investigation, the victim’s identity is traced back to that of a man who had been previously locked up for statutory rape. When another attack of a similar nature occurs, Intelligence finds a connection between the crimes, suspected pedophiles, and group named the Perv Hunters. Meanwhile, Lindsay (Sophia Bush) runs into a few bumps in the road – both personally and professionally.”

There is no doubt a sense of eeriness surrounding this story given recent headlines regarding killings and violence through Facebook Live. Note that this episode was written before many recent headlines and was therefore not “ripped” from them; yet, you should still exercise caution when watching since it may bring back a visceral reaction from those of you who were traumatized by much of that.

What we know about Lindsay’s future this season, based on early finale details released by NBC, is that later this month, she will have to cope with her own mother being a suspect in a heinous crime. Basically, what we’re trying to say is that things are going to go from bad to worse for her this season.
