Were you wondering when the Shadowhunters season 2 episode 11 return date will be? We’re pleased to offer up that information now!

Today, Freeform confirmed that following the Shadowhunters winter finale airing later tonight, you’re going to be facing a pretty long break before Clary and company return to your television sets. The current premiere date for Shadowhunters season 2B is Monday, June 5 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, and the show is going to lead itself slowly into the premiere of Stitchers season 3 following that up. This seems about right; it’s a time of the year that’s benefited other series like Teen Wolf that feature a strong young-adult viewership.

Of course, knowing the return date probably isn’t going to make matters any easier for those of you out there that are fervently craving new episodes of Shadowhunters — which we absolutely do understand. Waiting is hard! Just look at it this way: The show easily could have made this a lot worse than they have. Many summer shows often don’t get a chance to come on the air until July!

When it comes to The Fosters season 5 of the series will premiere on Tuesday, July 11 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. (The Fosters season 4 is still in the midst of airing on the network.) This is going to eventually lead into the premiere of The Bold Type, which is a new series starring Faking It alum Katie Stevens and will also feature The Office alum Melora Hardin, who recently appeared on The Blacklist. Given that Freeform is gearing itself up for a new generation of shows — one that won’t feature Pretty Little Liars for the first time in forever — it does make some sense that they would want to figure out their lineup far in advance. The more notice that they give fans in preparing for what is coming up, the better off the ratings will probably be.
