Dancing with the Stars season 24 full cast: David Ross, Simone Biles, and more

Fifth Harmony Dancing with the Stars -

The new season of Dancing with the Stars will not premiere on ABC until we get around to Monday, March 20, but while you wait, we do come bearing some great news: The full cast for season 24! The names and pairings were confirmed this morning on Good Morning America, and the majority of the preseason rumors turned out to be true. The only name that we suspected could be on the list but isn’t is a former cast member from Pretty Little Liars — but you are still getting a Fifth Harmony member, the current Bachelor, and another Olympic gold medalist.

Take a look at the full list of Stars and pairings below.

Simone Biles and Sasha Farber – Simone is easily going to be one of the favorites going in. She’s an Olympic gold medalist in gymnastics, and is arguably more popular than last season’s winner Laurie Hernandez.

Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess – Bonner, a professional bullrider, is one of the least-known participants this season. Still, there hasn’t been anyone quite like him ever since Ty Murray was on the show.

Charo and Keo Motsepe – Charo’s an entertainment icon, but probably appears more to older viewers. We’re glad Keo’s back, but it may not be a long stay.

Erika Jayne and Gleb Savchenko – It’s interesting that Erika is using her stage name rather her real name Erika Girardi as used on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She’s fun!

Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater – In all honesty, we don’t get this one. Jennings was no doubt talented, but this is a retired journeyman running back who never had a 1,000-yard season. This feels like having an NFL player just for the sake of having one.

Chris Kattan and Witney Carson – As a Saturday Night Live fiend, we’re thrilled that he’s there. However, we’re not sure Kattan’s been relevant in years and he doesn’t have a following with younger viewers.

Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev – She’s someone worth watching, given that she may be one of the most famous people on the season. However, she’s more famous for what happened to her as opposed to anything that she did.

Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy – Fifth Harmony is a super-popular band, and she’s got some dance experience working with them. She’s a threat.

Heather Morris and Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Love Heather Morris, but we still don’t get the Glee star’s casting since she’s already a dancer! She could easily win this season without batting an eye.

David Ross and Lindsay Arnold – While Ross, like Jennings, is a bit of a journeyman, he also hit a home run in Game 7 of the World Series. That makes the catcher an icon.

Mr. T and Kym Johnson – This could go terribly — yet, we’re still excited for it just because Mr. T is entertainment gold.

Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd – Peta’s back! She’s got her work cut out for her here given that Nick may not have a shred of dancing experience, and the current Bachelor is going to be rather busy.

All in all, this is a pretty good cast! Bolton is the only person we hadn’t heard of before this morning, and that’s always a good start. We’d say that Biles is as close to an A-lister as you’re going to get among Olympians, and Kordei, Viall, and Kerrigan in particular are people who could bring viewers.
