‘Madam Secretary’ season 3, episode 14: When could the first promo air?

Unfortunately, yet again today we come with a reminder that there is no new episode of “Madam Secretary” coming your way on CBS. With that being said, we also do come bearing some other good news: An episode title to give you a sense as tonally, what the episode could be like.

The show’s March 5 return to CBS is entitled “Labor of Love,” which to us could very easily be some sort of analogy to how much Elizabeth McCord does love being Secretary of State, even if there are some very obvious issues that go along with it. For example, she does have to deal with a good many bureaucrats and people who want to enforce their beliefs on her, even if many of these said beliefs are idiotic and don’t have that much merit even being in the political world.

Now, let’s get to answering the question that we raised at the beginning of this article: You are going to be getting a chance to see potentially a trailer for this episode at the end of the month. We wish that it was sooner, but typically the CBS tradition is to upload a promo / trailer at some point seven or so days (at least) before the new episode airs. Sometimes, the wait can be even shorter. We do figure that there will be a synopsis available within a week or so; maybe when we post our weekly update on the show at around this time in seven days, we’ll have something further to share on this subject. Fingers crossed on that!

In the end, the biggest thing to recognize here is that if you are a fan of “Madam Secretary,” there is a good bit to be excited about as we press onward into the season. There are more exciting reveals to come, and opportunities to learn more about the characters that we have. Also, in this age of division and frustration on both sides of the aisle, let’s hope that this show brings to the table a sense of greater optimism.
