‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13, episode 13 preview: April’s new first day and other problems

April -Tonight’s new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” is going to be providing quite a few different surprises over the course of the hour, and it’s also going to feature more protests surrounding Dr. Eliza Minnick and Alex managing to avoid jail time due to Andrew DeLuca dropping the charging.

So where are we going moving into next week’s new episode? Let’s just say that the tension between Minnick and some of the various attendings at the hospital is going to start to hit a peak. The tension between various parties is only going to rise, and some people could end up getting caught in the crosshairs.

For fans of Sarah Drew out there, there is specifically some very good news coming up: You could be seeing the character of April have a big role in what lies ahead! We know that she’s had a little bit of a lighter story as of late, so it could be fun to see things ramp up there over the next few weeks.

Synopsis – “The residents are excited for Eliza’s next phase of teaching, but they spend the day caught between the warring attendings. Meanwhile, April has a challenging first day in her new role at the hospital.”

Is this the big April / Jackson episode we’ve been promised? It’s hard to say for certain, but some indications that we’d heard before now were that these two characters were going to be away from the hospital for whatever it is that they are going to be going through. Hopefully, that will turn out to be an interesting, juicy story no matter when it ends up coming on the air.

Specifically, April’s promotion is going to put her in an interesting place just because of everything that she’s going to have to wrangle. She has to manage multiple personalities, and at the same time show the residents that they should follow Minnick’s teachings … or at least she does if she doesn’t want to get suspended.
