‘Supergirl’ season 2, episode 10 preview: Brit Morgan’s Livewire is back in action

Livewire -Tonight’s winter premiere of “Supergirl” is going to potentially bring to the table quite a few interesting things, whether it be Kara spending some time under a red sun and also getting to see Mon-El start to accept a few more of his responsibilities to be a hero to the people of National City.

The focus for this article is looking ahead at where we’re going to go next with “We Can Be Heroes,” which is probably one of the episodes we’re the most excited for out of the entire second half of the season. After all, we’re getting the return of Brit Morgan as Livewire, one of our favorite villains when it comes to her backstory, her powers, and her threat level to Supergirl. She’s incredibly unpredictable, and she’s one of those villains who would have no probably stooping so low as to kill people just because she finds it fun. It’ll be especially interesting seeing how she operates this time around without Cat Grant in the picture, since we know that she was one of the people she hated the most in season 1. (Then again, she absolutely has plenty of hate in her heart for Supergirl at this point, as well.)

Check out some further details below.

Synopsis – “After Livewire (guest star Brit Morgan) seemingly breaks out of prison, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is intent on recapturing her. After training Mon-El (Chris Wood), Supergirl takes him with her when she sees Livewire attack the NCPD but things go awry when Mon-El puts Supergirl before the citizens of National City. Meanwhile, James (Mehcad Brooks) decides to come clean with Kara and M’Gann (guest star Sharon Leal), has a psychic attack and collapses into a coma.”

The other main event for this episode seems to be James finally telling the truth about Guardian, and we can’t imagine that this will go well. Also, how much of an asset is Guardian going to be when it comes to battling Livewire? Does his suit serve as an excellent conductor of electricity?

Promo – This is really all about Livewire, and while it’s short, it’s certainly all sorts of awesome. Get ready for a heck of a showdown!
