‘The Bachelor’ episode 3 spoilers: Corinne Olympios’ late-night nap and bathroom breakdown

Corinne -Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelor” is coming up right around the corner, and we figure that it shouldn’t be altogether too big of a surprise to anyone to learn that Corinne Olympios is (once again) going to be at the center of almost all of the drama. She’s really lapping up the airtime, and basically ensuring that if she wants to be on “Bachelor in Paradise” for an upcoming season, she’s all but a lock for it.

In the videos below, we’ve got a slightly different side of the supposed “villain of the season,” starting with the idea that she can’t really be bothered to stay awake for the entire Rose Ceremony. Maybe she’s extremely tired after an episode of constantly stealing time away with Nick Viall, or maybe she just had a ton to drink. It’s hard to imagine her willingly spending time away from Nick given that she’s made this her #1 priority by a mile so far this season.

Whatever happens as a result of all this, she doesn’t seem to be feeling all that great about it come the next morning. The second sneak peek confirms that she is a part of the Backstreet Boys group date, and she’s feeling super-insecure about both her dance abilities, and the fact that she didn’t get to have many conversations with Nick the night before. Maybe she slept through her opportunity and didn’t get a chance to properly explain herself? The fact that she’s having this breakdown about it in the bathroom is all the more odd, mostly because it makes you wonder why in the world the cameras are there!

We’ve got the same philosophy on Corinne now that we did back when we first saw on the show: It’s perfectly understandable why the other women don’t like her. Yet, at the same time it’s even more understandable why production loves her and considers her to be the greatest gift to mankind since Olivia last season. She doesn’t have a lot of self-awareness, and does things impulsively not knowing how it could be perceived elsewhere. It’s hard to see her sustaining this for the entire season, mostly because she’s either going to be targeted more by the other women, or eventually Nick could realize that he’s looking for someone who is a little less hot-and-cold when it comes to personality. If you were to claim that Corinne is a combination of many other past “Bachelor” personalities, she’s probably Courtney Robertson and Tierra LiCausi thrown into one person.
