‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 19: Why you should still watch ‘World Meets Girl’

World Meets Girl -Tonight on the Disney Channel, “Girl Meets World” is going to be coming back with “World Meets Girl,” an episode that is different from any other that you’ve seen over the course of the show. For the first time, we’re getting a chance to actually see some of the actors in an interactive environment with the audience. We’re not sure just how in-character they are going to be throughout this and that’s going to be part of the fun of it all.

Now that we know that the show is canceled, having this episode tonight makes some sense given that it marks a chance to reflect and give back to the fans who are responsible for watching the show in the first place. However, at the same time it’s odd to have this sort of episode celebrating the global popularity of a show that the Disney Channel didn’t want to keep on the air.

There are a few specific things that you should know about this episode in advance, beginning with the fact that it is airing at a new time! “World Meets Girl” is airing at 6:00 p.m. Eastern, and all of the remaining episodes will air prior to the start of primetime as well.

So why should you watch? We understand that so many of you out there are upset with the Disney Channel and their decision to cancel the series; we certainly are too. However, you want to see the series end with the biggest ratings possible, given that it may make the network feel like they’ve made a mistake. Even if they don’t take further action, this sort of added attention may get a potential suitor such as a Netflix to take note and consider picking the show up.

We should note that we haven’t actually heard that the show is being shopped elsewhere, but a little bit of added attention never hurts. (Also, there’s a petition floating around out there to save the show; if you love it, you may want to check that out.)
