We are half way through January and we still haven’t had any new episode of “Timeless” on NBC, but the show will return on Monday, January 16 with an episode entitled “The World’s Columbian Exhibition,” and you can see the first photo for this episode above!
In this image, we see Lucy Preston (Abigail Spencer) alongside Garcia Flynn (Goran Visnjic), and it’s fairly clear from looking at this that she is just as uncomfortable as you’d expect. For one, she’s stuck in an era she’s not accustomed to being in, and she’s also with a man who just wanted to shoot a child! This is the episode set around the famous Chicago World’s Fair, and it’s not entirely clear what the two are doing under the big top.
Could this be the scene that features the arrival of Harry Houdini? We wonder, given reports that he is going to be featured in the episode. That part of this is exciting since he’s such a man of mystery and intrigue and with that we are also hoping for to see him perform a death defying escape routine. However, the flip side of this is that this could also be the episode that features the appearance of famed serial killer H.H. Holmes, a really terrible person who is known for doing a wide of terrible things to his victims in his hotel of horrors. We’re not sure how well the show can fully portray what this man was doing, given the fact that “American Horror Story: Hotel” even struggled with it, and they had a far more mature content rating attached to them. Needless to say H. H. Homes is a pretty terrifying person.
Let’s just hope that Rufus and Wyatt figure out a way to first inform Lucy, and then get her away from Flynn. We are convinced that no good is going to come from this situation, and it’s pretty darn clear why that is. He’s going to try to convince her that his way of thinking is right — it’s hard to imagine that he will kill her, but there are plenty of other things that he could do.
