‘Billions’ season 2 trailer: War is far from over with Rhoades, Axe

Billions season 2Sunday, February 19. That is the date that you need to mark down in your calendar, since that is the second season of “Billions” is going to be airing on Showtime. This is a show like no other, one that features a cat-and-mouse game that is intelligent, haunting, and at some other points disturbing. It encompasses almost everything that you would possibly want in a series of this nature and then some.

The best thing about the second season may just be that we’ve already spent all of the time on the introduction. We’ve had a chance to get to know the characters of Chuck Rhoades and Bobby Axelrod, we’ve seen their fights, and we also understand more of their distaste for one another. This information is critical in determining where the series goes from here, given that Rhoades showed during season 1 that he was so desperate to destroy hedge-fund guru’s entire infrastructure that he was willing to sacrifice an enormous degree of his own life in the process.

The trailer below for the new season features the two at odds once more, but in a different way this time given that an investigation into Rhoades may allow Axe the opportunity to jump in and further ensure that this man is no longer able to keep breathing down his neck. Given that Chuck’s relationship with Wendy is also in shambles, we see a man who may be more desperate, a little more free-wheeling, and by association, a little bit more dangerous. He’s not someone to be trifled with, but Axe is a powerful guy not afraid to get his hands dirty. Therefore, be prepared to see a heck of a lot of chaos play out.

We would be willing to surmise that there will be some further news coming up regarding “Billions” season 2 in the weeks ahead, so our recommendation to you is very simple: Stay tuned. We’ll have further scoop as it comes out.
