See first promo for ‘Supergirl’ – ‘Arrow’ – ‘The Flash’ – ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ crossover!

Starting on Monday, November 28, The CW is going to be launching what is without a doubt their most ambitious crossover event in the history of the network. You’ve got four shows airing over four nights (“Supergirl,” “The Flash,” “Arrow,” and “Legends of Tomorrow“), and while we’re sure that there are some individual stories sprinkled in there that don’t crossover from one episode to the next, the larger narrative is all about the Dominators, an alien threat that seems to be all about re-purposing Earth’s meta-humans for its own use. They are an enormous threat, and it will take a team-up like nobody’s business in order to stop them.

While there is a serious problem at the center of this story, the first promo for it is still, for the most part, all sorts of fun. After all, you get to see all of the heroes meet up for the first time, and in particular, that proves challenging for Supergirl. She’s got the biggest challenge out of anyone knowing only Barry Allen to date.

While we don’t get a good sense in here as to all of the action, or even all of the characters, we do think that this will be a heck of a good time. These are people we already know and really care about, and that draws the line here between this show and what DC Films is doing at present for “Justice League.” We don’t have that same sort of investment there with those characters that we do here.

Now, let’s just hope that this turns out to be every bit as fun as it could be — our biggest concern is “Arrow,” given that it’s the one show grounded mostly in reality and we don’t want to see its 100th episode be more about other shows than celebrating its own legacy.
