‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ finale preview: The Vicki Gunvalson confrontation

The finale of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” is coming your way on Bravo Monday night, and while there will still be a reunion show to after you get through that, it feels like the ladies are going to go out here with a bang.

Let’s start off here by painting a word picture of a nice, relaxing party in order to celebrate a rather wonderful achievement: Tamra Barney achieving great things at her recent fitness competition. You would think in theory that this is the sort of occasion that would rally together all of the women and have them all feel really good about supporting each other; unfortunately, that is not entirely the case. As per usual, some things go down that make such peace impossible, since everyone will be too preoccupied with bringing up the past.

Synopsis – “In the season finale, the ladies gather together at Shannon’s new house for a carb-loaded affair to celebrate Tamra’s victory at the fitness competition. However, with the residual anger surrounding Vicki’s loose-lipped gossip, Tamra, Heather and Shannon decide it’s time to shut down the rumor mill. After an evening of avoidance, they finally confront Vicki about her vicious rumors.”

Promo – Probably the first thing that stands out from watching this is the sheer size of the donut tower! How many of those were probably eaten? It’s hard to imagine many of them were, and there are of course the few that we see hit the floor. So many good donuts going to waste…

Anyway, eventually the evening descends into chaos with various women cursing each other out and getting into enormous arguments. Vicki Gunvalson will be front and center for this, which should ultimately be a spot she’s familiar with at this point on the show.
