‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: When’s the latest Luke Pell – Chase McNary announcement could come?

Over the past two weeks, Bachelor Nation has been nearly put into a coma by all of the close calls / hopes-and-dreams when it comes to the race to be the next “Bachelor.” At present, there are two very clear candidates.

1. Luke Pell – He’s the sweet, Southern gentleman with a military background and apparently a nice singing voice.

2. Chase McNary – He’s the adventurous medical sales rep from Colorado with a lion tattoo and a very active social-media presence.

Of the two, who would be better? The internet all has their favorites right now, but we see the merits in both of them. Chase may get you a little more of an internet presence, but at the same time Luke appeals to more of the traditional Bachelor fan. (If Chase gets the gig, he would be the second straight Bachelor following Ben Higgins to reside in Colorado — though interesting the producers chose to focus way more on Warsaw, Indiana with Ben.)

We know that creator Mike Fleiss has been proclaiming for all to hear on social media that an announcement could be coming soon — but how soon? Well, it almost surely will be the next few weeks. Given that “Bachelor in Paradise” only lasts for a couple more weeks, we imagine that the days following Labor Day are the last time the show can feasibly make the announcement. If Luke or Chase are not revealed on “Bachelor in Paradise” before the end of it, what was the point of all of this nonsense and hype? If you are a marketing guy, the sole objective here should really be to try and milk the show for every drop that you can.
