‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ spoilers: Meet Jen Saviano, Nick Viall’s new love interest

Jennifer -While Jen Saviano’s name has not been mentioned much on “Bachelor in Paradise” during season 3, she has nonetheless been an important force behind the scenes. Specifically, her name has been mentioned in blogs and tweets from former contestants, claiming that Nick Viall was there primarily for a chance to get to know her and wasn’t actually into Amanda Stanton nearly as much as the show made it appear.

With Jen finally coming to paradise on Tuesday night, of course we must answer the question as to who she is, given that we imagine not everyone out there will remember her. She was a part of Ben Higgins’ season of “The Bachelor,” but for the most part had an under-the-radar edit. She was eliminated around the same time as Jubilee Sharpe, although Jubilee was a much bigger personality on the series with more of a story.

So why cast her here? Just because someone doesn’t pop on the flagship show doesn’t mean that they are boring and not worth a shot on a different series. Sometimes, it is simply due to the fact that there is only so much time per episode, and some contestants aren’t that relevant to the over all story. This is why we figure Izzy Goodkind was cast on this show, even though she was gone fairly early on “The Bachelor.”

We’ll see if there are any long-term sparks here, but for the time being it seems that Jen and Nick may have a chance at something. It’s been quite a fun journey seeing Nick go from a “villain” in the eyes of many (not us though, we love him) to one of the most-likable people on this show.
