‘America’s Got Talent’ preview: Can Linkin’ Bridge impress Simon Cowell and the judges?

AGT -The premiere of “America’s Got Talent” is coming to NBC Tuesday night, and what better way to prepare for that than seeing a sneak peek now at one of the acts?

In the video below, you can see the debut performance of a group called Linkin’ Bridge who may certainly surprise you. When they come out, these four are extremely soft-spoken, quiet guys who don’t seem to have any sort of secret talent hidden underneath their exterior. Then, they start singing! “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” may not be what you would expect to hear from them, but this is further proof to not take anyone at face value. They’re really good!

What’s also fun about these guys is that they make us a little bit nostalgic for “The Sing-Off,” the great acapella competition that ran on NBC for a few years. Pentatonix has shown that there is a market for a group like this, provided that they work hard enough and have some creativity to what they do. These four are certainly talented, so the next step is going to be seeing what else they do now that we no longer have that element of surprise.

Just based on this alone, it feels fairly easy to say that we’re going to seeing the four of them secure a spot in the live shows by the time it’s all over. You’ll have a chance to see a wide array of acts perform there a little later in the summer.
