‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 20 video: Harrison Wells defends his plan

FlashOn Tuesday night’s new episode of “The Flash,” we are going to have a chance to ponder the following question: Can history really repeat itself? Is it possible that we could see another particle accelerator really come in and start to shake things up a little bit?

At this point, we have clearly learned that Harrison Wells is confident that he can replicate the original incident that caused Barry Allen to get his powers on a smaller scale; with that, he could get the speed that he would need in order to be the Flash once more. He argues in the sneak peek below that he has the science of Earth-1 Harrison, while at the same time he’s studied everything down to the last word. He may be able to pull it off, but even with the smartest man in the room running things, there’s still a risk.

Also in this sneak peek, we get a sense of what the STAR Labs team is doing in order to temporarily convince people that Central City is safe; they have a holographic version of The Flash running around in the streets, and they really just have to hope that nobody notices that this version of the character never speaks to anyone or has any interaction at all. Sooner or later, this is going to get found out; it’s a matter of when more so than if.
