‘Supergirl’ episode 20 (finale) spoilers: ‘Better Angels’ and the battle for Melissa Benoist, cast
Next week, “Supergirl” is going to air a showdown like no other, and with that, we’re also going to be dropping the curtain on what will hopefully be a really fun first season. While tonight’s episode brought us the beginnings of the “Myriad” storyline, it was definitely far from the end. The events tonight are carrying over directly into “Better Angels” next week, which is hopefully going to conclude the arc of season 1 in a pretty spectacular way.
Want to get some more news on what you can expect here for Melissa Benoist and the rest of the cast? Then be sure to check out the synopsis below:
“Supergirl is forced to do battle with an unexpected foe and must risk everything – including her life – to prevent Non and Indigo from destroying every person on the planet.”
As for whether or not there will be a cliffhanger ending, it’s hard to say given that the show is still facing an uncertain future. We don’t know whether or not it will be renewed for another season just yet, and for this reason we can imagine there may be some hesitancy on the part of producers to have a whole lot of question marks still out there. At the moment, our ideal ending would be one that concludes the Non / Indigo story for the time being, and gives you a small teaser for what season 2 could be. Basically, it sets the stage for some potential conflicts down the road. (We’re still more than confident the show is going to return.)

Supergirl looks really angry at Non. He shouldn’t have grabbed Alex and made her fight Supergirl.
