‘Supergirl’ episode 19 preview: What Melissa Benoist, cast will face in ‘Myriad’
Tonight, we imagine that “Supergirl” provided much of the fan service that so many people have been looking forward to: The Flash and Kara joined forces! It was fun, dramatic, and all sorts of exciting. Hopefully, we’re going to get a chance to see something more of this variety down the road, even if we know it’s rather complicated when you’re dealing with two separate networks in CBS and The CW.
So where are we going from here? Well, “Supergirl” is focusing back on its core mythology for “Myriad,” the penultimate episode this season that brings back Non as well as Indigo, who he decided recently that he was going to try to program in order to do his bidding. Will that work? Based on the synopsis below, it does certainly seem as though the two are now working on more or less the same page:
“Kara must find a way to free her friends when Non (Chris Vance) and Indigo (Laura Vandervoort) use mind control to turn National City’s citizens into their own army.”
Whatever does transpire here, we imagine that it will carry over in some way to the big finale on April 18, and in turn, set the stage for what will hopefully be a season 2. CBS has not confirmed that we’re getting more of the show just yet, but to a certain extent, we feel like it would be a shock if it weren’t picked up. We know the ratings are not enormous by network standards, but this is still a show with a devoted following that brings a different demo than they are used to having.
