‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 17 preview: Emily Kinney returns as Brie Larvin

While we await precisely what is going to happen to Damien Darhk on “Arrow,” the CW show is doing a rather smart thing in giving us some episodes featuring some other familiar / popular villains. On tonight’s installment, we had a chance to see Cupid in action for the first time this season. In one week’s time, we’re going to have a chance to see Brie Larvin in action!

Technically, next week’s “Beacon of Hope” is going to be the first chance that we’ve had to see Emily Kinney on “Arrow,” given that she previously surfaced on “The Flash.” However, she does have a history with Felicity Smoak, which means that we’re going to have a face-off of sorts between these two characters. The synopsis below gives you a little more information regarding just what to expect:

“Brie Larvan (guest star Emily Kinney) breaks out of jail and turns up at Palmer Tech threatening to kill everyone unless she gets the bio-chip that is implanted in Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) spine. When Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes that Felicity, Thea (Willa Holland) and Donna (guest star Charlotte Ross) are trapped in Palmer Tech with everyone else, he looks to a surprising ally to help Team Arrow save the day.”

We hope that by the end of the episode, maybe we’ll get a chance to see just what is coming up with Darhk. Meanwhile, for the time being we should have a fun face-off with a fascinating villain, and the unlikely alliance mentioned in here should add an element of intrigue.
