‘The Amazing Race 28’ episode 6 preview: Sheri & Cole’s struggles and more

Cole -Tonight, “The Amazing Race” aired an episode that may be one of the most physically demanding ones that we’ve had a chance to see over the course of the season, but at the same time we also think that it gave up something in the process: The lack of any real strategy.

Unfortunately, we are going to be waiting for quite some time to see the next new episode coming on the air. The show will be in repeats until we roll around to April 1, and when the show does air again, it’ll be going to a wide array of locales. CBS aired a super-tease after the episode that showed tears (specifically for Sheri & Cole), gold short-shorts, exotic locales, and a lot of competitive spirit.

Do we like this sort of marketing strategy for the show? Not in the least. As a matter of fact, we really hate the whole idea of marketing the show with clips from a variety of different episodes. It makes things easier for sleuths to try to figure out what is happening on a given episode, and who makes it far.

At the moment, there are a few elements to the rest of the season that seem to be somewhat predictable. As of right now Tyler & Korey and Bordie & Kurt are the two consensus picks to win, and everyone else is still in the process of playing catch-up. We’re just not sure if any other team is going to get there or not this season. Stay tuned for more news soon!
