‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9 spoilers: Does someone have a secret?

If there is one thing that we have come to know about Dr. Sheldon Cooper on “The Big Bang Theory” over the years, it is this: He is a man who does not hold much back. The guy is blunt about even his bowel movements, so if there is something that he is keeping from the group, it has to be pretty significant, no? This is at least the assumption that we would make.

With that said, we’re starting to get some more information regarding what could be an important storyline regarding a secret for the character in the future. Speaking in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Steven Molaro had the following to say about a story that is coming up:

“Very soon Sheldon is going to reveal a weird secret to Amy that he’s been hiding for a long time that nobody knows about.”

What could it be? We’d love it if it is something really against type, like he has a fantasy football team or that he really likes the ballet. However, we’re probably reaching a little for the stars here. Regardless of what it is, we still feel fairly confident that this could be the basis for an interesting story … and we’ll have a whole lot more to say about it in the future. Stay tuned! New episodes of the show are going to resume on Thursday night with a story that will bring Emily back into the fold.
