‘Arrow’ season 4: Exec gives more insight on ‘wedding’ photo

Is “Arrow” executive producer Marc Guggenheim attempting to break the internet … or at least break the Olicity fandom? It’s hard to say, but one day after posting a photo of a big Oliver and Felicity wedding, he has added some more fuel to the fire.

In a new post on Twitter, Guggenheim claims that the wedding photo is not a dream sequence, a hallucination, an alternate reality, or a flash forward to something that could happen down the road. If we are to rule out all of these possibilities, it’s probably fair to ask precisely what in the world is really going on here, right?

The easy answer would be to say that this is therefore the real wedding between Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards’ characters, but given the fact that they are seemingly broken up in the flash-forward we’ve already seen doesn’t give us a whole lot of hope. Also, you have to remember that she’s currently in a wheelchair. While Curtis Holt seems rather interested in helping her regain her ability to walk, there’s no guarantee at all that it will work.

There are still some other possibilities that this photo could allude to. What is this wedding is about to happen, only for something to come in and mess it up? Or, what if this ends up being some sort of trap? We know that Cupid is returning at some point this season, and provided that she’s gotten over her thing with Deadshot, we definitely feel as though this is the sort of thing that would really upset her.
