‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: David Ramsey crosses over for ‘King Shark’

“The Flash” has seemingly decided that there is really no need for subtlety when describing the upcoming February 17 episode entitled “King Shark.” They know that the entire idea is nuts, and they have no problem passing that along to you.

There are a variety of crazy things that you can expect to see over the course of this hour, whether it be a King Shark attack or the fact that it is Diggle and his wife Lyla, who are coming over from Star City, to try to track him down:

“When King Shark escapes from an A.R.G.U.S. holding tank, Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) and Diggle (David Ramsey) travel to Central City to warn The Flash (Grant Gustin). King Shark shows up at the West house and attacks Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Iris (Candice Patton), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Barry.”

In some ways, this episode probably is a fun bit of filler for the show, given that this is coming at the tail end of the two-part saga at Earth-2, and we’re probably still wrestling with everything that took place within that world. King Shark will at least give us a bit of fun, and we’re still in awe of the fact that the series is bringing him back on in the first place. The previous appearance from the character was rather glorious, but it was very brief and apparently also very expensive. We imagine that we’re getting King Shark at the expense of a Gorilla Grodd appearance, given how costly that would also be.
