‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 12 preview: Tar Pit arrives; Wally West in danger

How are you feeling about “The Flash” and their interpretation of Wally West so far? We’re not really that high on it, since mostly what we’ve seen him do is argue with everyone and not feeling altogether great about his new family. Is that going to change in the next installment of the show? We cannot say for certain, but let’s just say that we’re hopeful given that “Fast Lane” next week is going to be a very important one in determining his future.

The synopsis below comes courtesy of The CW, and it provides plenty of information in terms of what to expect:

“Barry (Grant Gustin) teams up with Wells (Tom Cavanagh) to figure out a way to close the breaches, but they are distracted by a meta-human nicknamed Tar Pit (guest star Marco Grazzini) who can transform into liquid asphalt. Iris (Candice Patton) is concerned for Wally’s (Keiynan Lonsdale) safety after she finds out about his drag racing hobby. When he refuses to stop she makes a bold move that puts her in danger.”

If this episode is anywhere close to what we had this week in terms of it being crazy, we know that we are going to be entertained. This episode could get Wally potentially closer to the team, but whether or not he ends up being a speedster of his own remains to be seen. This show has done a good job teasing many would-be speedsters, with Harry’s daughter also being one.
