‘Gotham’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Can Bruce convince Galavan to tell the truth?

On Monday night’s new episode of “Gotham,” we had a chance to witness many things. Barbara Kean tried to eliminate Jim Gordon and Lee Thompkins, the Penguin and the Riddler had a meeting of the minds (or at least an odd meeting in the woods), and Bruce Wayne decided against selling his company to Theo Galavan right before the Mayor was arrested for dispatching of the old Mayor. This guy really went from the top to the bottom in a really short amount of time, didn’t he?

Next week will further explore just what happens when Galavan is pressured to give up information on what happened to Bruce’s parents, which was an original part of their negotiation for Bruce to give up the company. Also, it will continue the story of the Penguin and Nygma, and seemingly give Captain Barnes the chance to rattle on about how important it is as police officers to distance yourselves from the bad guys.

“Gordon and Barnes continue cleaning up Gotham, and Gordon comes face-to-face with one of the city’s most dangerous hitmen, Eduardo Flamingo (guest star Raul Castillo). Meanwhile, Nygma and Penguin cross paths again, and Bruce pressures Galavan into handing over the name of his parents’ murderer.”
