‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 6 preview: The story of ‘Lies’ for Julianna Margulies, cast
Sunday night, “The Good Wife” spent a lot of time on a story all about student-loan debt that seemed on the surface like filler, but we actually think that there was a whole lot more to it. This story was extremely effective in further shoring up the relationship that is present between Alicia Florrick and Lucca Quinn, and that same relationship is something that we feel like could become more and more integral to their success as time goes by.
The fact that the next installment of the series is entitled “Lies” is certainly curious, and also suggests that there could be a problematic moment or two coming up. The synopsis below gives you some good insight into why the story is titled that way, and to go along with it, some more scoop when it comes to Eli and some of his at-times devilish ways:
“Alicia and Lucca defend a client who was fired from a technology firm for failing a polygraph test. Also, Eli plots to leak something that would damage Peter’s presidential campaign but could inadvertently hurt Alicia.”
By the time we make it to the end of this story, we’re going to have a chance to see a little bit more of what is going to be happening with Eli’s long-term job security, and also hopefully the same for Ruth. We do wonder how long it is going to take before he is able to worm Margo Martindale’s character right out of dodge. This is, after all, one of his specialties.
