‘Empire’ season 2 spoilers: First look at ‘True Love Never’

Empire -How is “Empire” season 2 going to resolve itself? It’s a good question, but one that we are at present still a long ways away from figuring out. There are so many different elements to the show that are up in the air, from Hakeem’s safety to Cookie’s new record label to figuring out whether or not Andre can balance everything in his life.

Heck, even airdates are currently up in the air. We have for you below the first synopsis for “True Love Never,” an episode tentatively scheduled to air on November 11. However, that could change based on the World Series results. You can head over here to see some of what you can expect, including some good news for those of you out there who are particularly worried about Hakeem immediately:

“Lucious begins to strategize the ascension of Empire from record label into global music monolith, so he looks into starting a partnership with Jago (guest star Patrick Mulvey), the founder of a music streaming company. Meanwhile, Andre has to twist his newfound values to achieve a delicate balance between his faith and his career, Hakeem begins to work with Laura to turn her into a star and Cookie sets her sights on having Lyon Dynasty be a part of an epic televised charity music.”

There will probably be a few shocking developments in this episode, but from a business standpoint one of the most interesting facets of this story could be seeing how Lucious navigates the streaming industry. This is something that in modern music is almost dramatic enough to be on “Empire” without any exaggeration at all.
