‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 3 video: See John Barrowman’s return and more

Arrow -While John Barrowman remains a series regular on “Arrow,” the reality here is that for the most part, we really haven’t seen much of him at all on the show so far. Luckily, that is changing on Wednesday night’s new episode “Restoration,” as you have a chance to see for the first time what he has been doing as the new Demon’s Head at Nanda Parbat.

As executive producer Wendy Mericle explains in the video below, Malcolm is going to be visited by Laurel (who know so many different people would be able to find this place?), who wants to be able to use the Lazarus Pit in order to bring Sara back. Whether or not she will be successful isn’t really something up for debate, given that everyone has seen the trailer for “Legends of Tomorrow” and therefore knows that Caity Lotz is a part of it. Therefore, the issue is more along the lines of what happens if Sara is brought back, and what the time away from this world will have done to her.

Mericle lays out that there will be a fascinating story parallel in “Restoration.” While we’ll be seeing Sara potentially revived, we are simultaneously going to learn more about what Thea is suffering from in the wake of being brought back herself from the Pit. She has a trigger that comes on in the most inopportune of moments, and this makes her dangerous and hard to trust. We have to think that this is something that will be touched on further if she is meant to play a significant role in Team Arrow long-term.

One final tease from Mericle: We’re going to understand more of what Diggle is going through after feeling betrayed at the end of last season.
