‘Blindspot’ episode 6 preview: What’s next for Jaimie Alexander, cast in ‘Cede Your Soul’

The first thing that we can say about the next new episode of “Blindspot” is that when it comes to titles, “Cede Your Soul” sounds like something straight out of a 1990’s rock album. Maybe Jane Doe is secretly into rock music?

This episode is going to be airing on NBC next week, and based on the synopsis below, it is pretty clear to us that the writers of the show are doing everything that they can to be hip to whatever the “young people” are into these days, including a billion different apps for almost everything on the market:

“When an assassination leads the team to a dangerous app that allows criminals to track government vehicles, they have to work with the app’s surprising creator to take it down. Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) attempt to keep their relationship professional. Zapata (Audrey Esparza) struggles with a moral issue.”

One thing that we are curious about is the show already playing up the relationship between Weller and Jane on the level that they are. This is something that other shows probably would have waited a good season or two to explore, and we like the reckless abandon that is here in already asking some of these questions. Of course, questions don’t always dictate action, but this show is bringing in a lot of different elements early in its run. We have to celebrate that, even though the show does have a full season already.
