‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 6 preview: First look at 90-minute episode!
The first thing that you should know about next week’s new episode of “Scorpion” is that this is far from your normal installment of the show. After all, it’s running for a full 90 minutes! The second thing is that it has a pretty sweet title in “Tech, Drugs, and Rock ‘n Roll.” It’s following the series premiere of “Supergirl” at 9:30 p.m. Eastern time, and the synopsis below gives you a few hints as to what to expect:
“Walter’s attempt to “normalize” goes horribly wrong when a nefarious virus is uploaded to his computer, turning Team Scorpion’s new “smart” building project into a burning death trap with people locked inside.”
So what should a longer episode of “Scorpion” deliver to you as opposed to a standard one? If we were to guess, we’d say that above all else, the show is going to be making things bigger and better than they ever had before. With more of a run time likely comes a bigger budget and more action than we’ve seen before … and maybe some character stuff. Since we do have that extra space to work with, doesn’t that mean more potential to see some great stuff from Happy / Toby and also Walter / Paige? We certainly hope so at this point in the season.
We’re going to have some other news when it comes to the show soon enough; ultimately, this is going to be one episode that people who are longtime fans of the show will remember for quite some time … and hopefully for good reason.
