‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 5 preview: Katharine McPhee, Elyes Gabel, and ‘Super Fun Guys’

In just two weeks’ time, we’re going to get a chance to see on “Scorpion” something that we really have not had a chance to behold to date: A 90-minute episode. CBS is turning this night into an event on October 26 alongside the premiere of “Supergirl,” but there is another exciting story to go along with all of this next week. We don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves here!

“Super Fun Guys” is the title for the next installment, and as you can see in the photo above, a beloved comic book from the show universe is coming to life. We imagine that for Katharine McPhee, Elyes Gabel, and the rest of the cast, filming this was somewhat of an experience. You can look below at some other details of what to expect courtesy of the CBS synopsis:

“Team Scorpion goes undercover on the “Super Fun Guy” movie set in Kazakstan in order to disable a soviet era nuclear missile being sold by terrorists.”

There is really not too much that we can say about this episode other than it looks like it’s going to be a great time! One of the reasons why we are extremely excited about this show is that it is a chance to see an exciting case mixed in with humor. There are so many dramatic shows on TV in this genre, any chance you can mix things up is something that should really be celebrated.
