‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 20 preview: Riley, Lucas, Maya, and ‘Girl Meets Texas’

For all fans of “Girl Meets World,” it’s almost finally here: “Girl Meets Texas.” This epic event is going to be coming your way on the Disney Channel next weekend, and this may be the time where you really start to get the sense as to where Lucas’ feelings truly lie between Maya and Riley. Early on in the show, we were a little bit critical for the series really emphasizing the romance, given how young the characters were and how there was no need to rush. Still, there isn’t really that much of a reason, but at least we’ve spent a little bit of time getting to know them. It doesn’t feel as egregious of a move now to get some insight.

In addition to the photo above, the network also recently shared some synopses for the story, which you can take a look at below complete with a list of two notable guest stars who are going to be showing up.

Part I – “Riley, Maya, and Farkle head to Texas with Lucas, who has been entered in the bull-riding competition at the rodeo in his hometown.”

Part II – “Riley, Maya and Lucas try to figure out their feelings while they are in Texas together. Guest starring: Country singers Maddie and Tae.”

Whatever happens in Texas is clearly not going to stay in Texas, since it will be the driving force behind much of the story moving forward. We certainly think that there should be a third season, but that has not been confirmed just yet. There are also still some episodes in season 2 past “Girl Meets Texas.”
